There is an opportunity for an early-career postdoctoral academic to join our team of organization scientists, computer scientists, and mathematical biologists. The role is part of a project funded by the Australian Research Council to implement parallel processing and distributed computing methods to study complex dynamic social and health systems. Formally employed on a two-year contract (with the possibility of extension conditional on funding) in the Department of Management and Marketing within the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne, the successful candidate will share responsibility for coding existing and new algorithms that characterize and test causality using methods from dynamical systems research in ecology and applied physics.
