We are seeking a mathematical/statistical modeller to join the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence PRISM2, in the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Adelaide. PRISM2 is an NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in infectious disease modelling with nodes based at the University of Melbourne, Australian National University, University of Adelaide and University of New South Wales.
The position provides a fantastic opportunity to work on a mix of methodological/theoretical projects and applied/public-health focused projects in infectious disease epidemiology. Flexibility exists in the projects the research fellow will engage in, but preference will be given to those individuals able to contribute to a project that combines viral phylogenetics with transmission dynamics for inference in stochastic epidemic models.
