Thiri is a PhD candidate at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Melbourne. She started her PhD in 2016 and is supervised by Andrew Robinson, Nic Geard and Trish Campbell. Thiri’s PhD aims to develop a spatial and mobility model for the indigenous communities in Northern Territory which eventually help to control infectious diseases in this area.
Thiri holds a Bachelor of Science (Statistics Special) from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She also has four years of management experience in Hospital Supply Chain and has completed ACMA/CGMA and MBA.
